Faction Carnival

What an amazing week we had with everyone working well as individuals and as teams. Thanks to the fantastic Faction Captains for their assistance with all the events throughout the week. Thanks to the Staff for their support, especially Ms Bernic on the scoring, Mrs Dewing at the finish line, Mrs Jetta at the start, and Mr Powers on the timing gates. Mr Guidi, our pre-service teacher, did a great job as the starter and Ms King as the chief marshal. To the wonderful parents Mel, Janet, Amy, Claire and ex-parent, Martine, for their assistance at the carnival. Thank you to Cam from SEDA who assisted with the events on Monday. Thanks to the DUCKs for their assistance with set up and the rapid pack down. Many helpers mean a smoothly run carnival. Thank You!

Well done to Cygnet for winning Banksia Bear, the Overall shield and the Tug of War. Congratulations PP2 for being the strongest Pre-primary and winning their Tug of War. Congratulations to the parents who won the staff v parents flag race. I can see next year the staff need to do a bit of training before the event!

Huge thanks to our gardener, Noah, for keeping the line markings for the track and the team games visible all term.

Year 4: Champions: Bella and Finn, Runners-up: Ava and Jacob.

Year 5: Champions: Nina and Jonah, Runners-up: Parker and Freddie.

Year 6: Champions: Charlotte and James, Runners -up: Sabrina and Harper.

We know our team for Inter-school next week will represent us proudly and display our school values. Consent 2 Go will be emailed home this week and the competitor list is on the sport's notice board. A note has been sent home with the competitors about training sessions.

Running Club

Running Club is on each Tuesday and Friday morning from 8.00am – 8.30am. New runners always welcome. Parents of Kindy and Pre-primary parents must attend with their child. Active kids learn better! The last running club for the term will be on Tuesday of Week 10.

Running club will recommence Week 4 of Term 4 and will only be held on Tuesdays.

Mrs Stanford will be on leave for part of the term.

Summer Sport

Registrations are now open for summer sports. We have many great clubs in our area. There are details on the sport notice board for Tee ball or go to the web sites of the club for sign up details.
