We welcome to Kensington Mr Caiden Guidi a pre-service teacher from Notre Dame who will be teaching with Mrs Stanford this term.

 Cam Rosich from SEDA Soccer will be assisting with the PE program on Wednesday.

Faction Cross-country

Well done to all students on their performance in the faction cross-country last Friday. It was fantastic to see everyone giving maximum effort to complete the course no matter where they placed. Thanks to S3 and S4 for their assistance on the day. Many senior students ran the course multiple times helping and encouraging the younger students. Thanks to Amy (parent) and our staff who assisted on the day. Thanks also to the faction captains and sports monitors who came to school early to assist with the set up.

Congratulations to our medallion winners: 

Year 6 champions – Charlotte and James, runners-up – Sarah and David.

Year 5 champions – Isabel and Freddie, runners-up – Lily and Jonah.

Year 4 champions – Bella and Maxwell, runners-up – Lara and Jacob.

Year 3 champions – Imogen and Cooper, runners-up – Piper and Zander

Year 2 champions – Abigail and Aubrey, runners-up – Annabelle and Theodore.

Year 1 champions – Summer and Darcy, runners-up- Shiloh and Jack.

PP champions – Layla and Johannes, Riley and Benen.

Our runners who came 1 – 6 in Year 3 to 6 will represent Kensington in the Inter-school Cross-country next Thursday 3^rd August at Harold Rossiter.

It was a very close competition with the lead changing several times over the day. The final scores were: -

Running Club

Running Club is on each Tuesday (running track) and Friday (oval) morning from 8.00am – 8.30am. New runners always welcome. Parents of Kindy and Pre-primary parents must attend with their child. Active kids learn better!
