Interschool Carnival
On Tuesday last week the jumps, throws and 400m team got us off to a great start. We won 9 firsts, 17 seconds, 8 thirds and 9 fourths. As a team, we came out of the day 100 points in the lead. Thanks to Isabel, Jonty, Harry and Matilda for their assistance on the day.
After the cancelling of the interschool carnival and the rescheduling to yesterday, we had a perfect day. Our individual sprints went brilliantly, with most competitors placing in their event. The hard work we put into our training over the last two weeks was very evident in our team games. Thanks to Mr Powers, Mrs Jetta and parents Mel, Janet, Dan and Bernadette for assisting with training. Of the 35 team events, we placed in each event, winning 20 firsts, 5 seconds, 5 thirds and 5 fourths. A couple of times we made mistakes but the teams never gave up and worked hard to get back into a placing position. To cap it all off we won the Grand relay. Well done team!

Netball
Congratulations to four of our netball teams who played in grand finals at Leisure Life this week. Three teams were successful in winning their finals and the fourth narrowly lost in a very tense and exciting match. Well done to all players and coaches.
Running Club
Running Club is over for another term. We will recommence in Week 3 and run through until Week 8. Unfortunately, our breakfast had to be cancelled due to the postponement of the Interschool Athletics Carnival. We will have a breakfast at the end of Term 4. Keep running over the holidays.
